Long Logistics & Management
(All Branches)

Name of course	Long Logistics and Management Course (LLMC) Officers Course.
Aim of Course	To enable Officers to :- Deal with financial matters in the service with special reference to allocation and utilisation of funds, budgeting system for planning and controlling activities, with the overall view of promoting financial consciousness in the Navy. Ensure optimum utilisation of human resources in the service for increasing organisational effectiveness through management of personal and industrial relations on scientific lines based on behavioural pattern Effectively carry out the duties of Staff Officer by using latest techniques and principles relating to general management. Effectively carry out material management function in the Navy, using concepts, procedures and quantitative techniques available for material management. Identify problems in the field and to guide, evaluate and implement studies in the Navy with a view to increase the overall productivity/efficiency.
Pre course Requirement	Lieutenants with minimum 2 ½ to 4 ½ years seniority in Executive, Electrical, Engineering and Logistics Branch. Officers of X, L and E must be in possession of watch keeping certificate of their respective branch.

Name of course	Ships Diving Officer (SDO) Specialization course, for Officers of all branches.
Aim of course	To enable Offices to :- Achieve proficiency in underwater routine diving tasks. Carry out underwater inspection, cleaning and maintenance and underwater fittings using open circuit and close circuit breathing apparatus.
Pre course Requirement	Officers must be below 27 years of age. Officer of all branches are eligible to undergo this course Officer must be physically fit. Officer must qualify in the aptitude test.

Aim of course	To enable Officer to: Gain knowledge in Aeronautical Engineering and Aircraft Weaponry. Train in Maintenance of Naval Aircraft.
Pre course Requirement	Officers should have :- Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering. Undergone Naval Orientation Course (NOC). Undergone Electrical Specialisation Course. Competency Certificate.

Frequency	Once a year
Venue	Naval Air Technical School (NATS) Naval Base Cochin
Post course Recommendation	Officers to be appointed on board aircraft carriers/ships carrying helicopters/shore air station / air squadrons.
