Name of course Long Logistics and Management Course (LLMC) Officers Course.
Aim of Course To enable Officers to :-
  • Deal with financial matters in the service with special reference to allocation and utilisation of funds, budgeting system for planning and controlling activities, with the overall view of promoting financial consciousness in the Navy.
  • Ensure optimum utilisation of human resources in the service for increasing organisational effectiveness through management of personal and industrial relations on scientific lines based on behavioural pattern
  • Effectively carry out the duties of Staff Officer by using latest techniques and principles relating to general management.
  • Effectively carry out material management function in the Navy, using concepts, procedures and quantitative techniques available for material management.
  • Identify problems in the field and to guide, evaluate and implement studies in the Navy with a view to increase the overall productivity/efficiency.

  • Age. Not more than 38 years.
  • Minimum rank of PO for non Artificers and Artificers with minimum 6 years of service including 3 to 4 years of sea experience.

  • Should have been promoted to the rank of SLt.
