On the occasion of 53rd Foundation Day of Indian Naval Academy INA, a high tea was hosted on 08 January 2022. Traditional cake cutting ceremony was organised in the presence of senior officers and all ranks of INA. The Naval Academy was first established at Kochi in 1969 and has been in existence for over 50 years. A permanent Naval Academy was realised with the inauguration of INA at Ezhimala, Kerala on 08 January 2009, by then Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh. INA is Asia’s largest Naval Academy and has been entrusted the responsibility of grooming and mentoring young trainees into future Naval leaders. INA is also a significant contributor to the Indian Navy’s vision of building Bridges of Friendship with Friendly Foreign Countries.
