Mid Career Course Conducted at NIAT

A two-week mid-career course for 12 Naval Aviation Technical Officers was conducted from 11 to 23 March 2019 at Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology (NIAT). The course is aimed to provide advanced professional and technological training to Air Technical Officers to take on higher responsibilities. 23 expert speakers from Integrated Headquarters Ministry of Defence (Navy), Headquarters Naval Aviation and other naval agencies shared their experience on subjects such as Indigenisation, Quality Assurance, Air Logistics Management, Information Security, Aircraft Acquisition and Contract Management. In addition, a capsule on 'Digital Twin Concept for Naval Aviation Maintenance' was also conducted by M/s Siemens Ltd.
