Passing Out Parade and Valedictory Function of MED-II ‘Q’ and POM ‘Q’ Courses Held at SOMA, Kochi

The Passing out Parade and valedictory function of MED-II ‘Q’ and POM ‘Q’ courses was held on 07 September 2019 at School of Medical Assistants (SOMA). 140 Probationary Medical Assistants (PMAs) joined SOMA on 18 March 2019 for MED-II ‘Q’ course and the POM ‘Q’ Course, comprising 48 trainees commenced on 29 July 2019. The trainees underwent theoretical, practical and simulation-based training in various medical, surgical and nursing care procedures. The trainees also participated in extra-curricular activities like sports, quiz, debate, educational visits and cultural events for all round development. The higher rank courses have also been trained on human simulator and advanced task trainers. Nishad Ahammed A, PMA was adjudged best trainee in the PMA course. The POP was reviewed by Commanding Officer, INHS Asvini.
