Passing-Out Parade of Hull Artificers Conducted at INS Vishwakarma, Visakhapatnam

The passing-out parade of 58 Hull Artificer (HA) Apprentices comprising 51 Indian Navy HA sailors and seven Coast Guard Yantriks was conducted at INS Vishwakarma on 20 February 2020. The Passing-out Parade reviewed by Commodore Sanjiv Kapoor, Commanding Officer, INS Vishwakarma marked the completion of two and a half year-long professional ab-initio training that comprised of both theoretical and practical training on various Hull Systems and Equipment.

Jatin Kumar, HA Apprentice was awarded the FOC-in-C Southern Naval Command Gold Medal for standing First in Overall Order of Merit. Aman Yadav, HA App was awarded the ‘Vishwakarma Trophy’ for 'Best in Parade Training' and VNK Varma, Yantrik HA stood first in academics amongst the Coast Guard trainees.

A Valedictory function was also organised for all the trainees, guests, ship's company and their families. All passing out sailors will shortly assume their appointments onboard frontline warships.
