Passing Out Parade of Trainees  from Friendly Foreign Countries held at Diving School, Kochi

A Passing Out ceremony for 22 trainees (10 officers and 12 sailors) from friendly foreign countries, namely Sri Lanka, Mauritius, Myanmar, Philippines, Bangladesh and Maldives, was held on 13 July 2019 at Diving School on completion of the Clearance Diving Course. Lieutenant Farhan Ishrat from Bangladesh and KDWHK WMDP Bandaragah, PO (DIV) from Sri Lanka were adjudged as the Best Divers in the officers' and sailors' course respectively. The Mahavir Trophy for Best Sailor of the PO Qualification course, consisting of 12 Indian trainees, was awarded to Abhishek, LS (CD). The Chief Staff Officer (Training), SNC felicitated the passing out trainees on successful completion of the course, which taught them advanced diving skills, including Mixture Diving, Underwater Salvage, Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Combat Diving. He also commended all instructors for their dedication and professionalism in ensuring that the course graduated with high professional skills and competence.
