Swarnim Vijay Abhiyan Motor Cycle Expedition Reaches Gujarat

The Swarnim Vijay Abhiyan motor cycle expedition arrived at Porbandar on 12 September 2021 after visiting the Statue of Unity and INS Khukri Memorial at Diu, and covering a distance of 1,860 km. The expedition was flagged off from Porbandar on 14 September 2021 by Rear Admiral Puruvir Das, Flag Officer Commanding Gujarat Naval Area. During this leg, the expedition team is scheduled to visit INS Valsura, Sainik School Balachadi and various Indian Army and Indian Air Force establishments enroute. The motorcycle expedition commenced from Karwar on 06 September 2021. Over 50 naval personnel are taking part in various legs of the 6,000 km expedition from Karwar to Delhi on 11 motorcycles and two support vehicles.
