However, they will be allowed to appear for the interview only after production of documents in support of their age, qualification, experience, caste, category etc. Selection for the post s of Dy. Director and Assistant Director shall be based on the combined merit of both CBT and in terview. W eightage for the performance in the CBT and personal interview shall be given in the ratio of 80:20. ∑ Selection for the post of Programme Officer shall be based on the merit in CBT. Applications of only such candidates who qualify in the computer skill test shall be further considered and the selection shall be based on the merit in CBT . xiv ) For the post s of Dy. Director s , the persons working in Govt. Sector/Autonomous Bodies in the Level 7 of Pay Matrix as per the 7 th CPC (in pre revised PB - 2 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/ - ) or equivalent in other scales will be considered as havi ng working experience in executive /supervisory capacity. In case of persons working in private sector, candidate working in managerial capacity shall be considered as having working experience in executive capacity. xv ) For the posts of Dy. Director & Assist ant Director, working experience in Govt. Sector/public sector undertakings/autonomous bodies shall be considered as experience in a developmental institution. xvi ) The qualification, experience is relaxable at the discretion of Appointing Authority in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Schedule Tribes , if at any stage of selection, the appointing authority is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing requisite experience are not likely to be availabl e to fill up the vacancy reserved for them. xvii ) Mere fulfilling of essential qualifications would not entitle an applicant to be called for skill test/written test/viva voce/interview. NCDC may make a preliminary selection on the basis of academic records/pe rcentage of marks/ experience etc . NCDC reserves the right to modify the selection procedure, if deemed fit. xviii ) Besides Pay, the posts carry D.A, H.R.A. and Transport Allowance at Central Govt. rates. A pplication fee is Non - refundable and the Demand Draft (DD) should be valid for a period of at least 3 months . Departments and Public Sector Undertakings will be considered only if the candidates enclose the competent authorities approval along with other documents while submitting applications and with a clear certificate that the applicant will be relieved within one month of receipt of appointment order, if selected. 10. Application Form not accompanied with the required documents (i ) prescribed application fee wherever applicable; ( i i ) Proof regarding date of birth & age; (iii ) Proof of possession of a valid Ex - servicemen certificate ( iv ) Experience of Ex - servicemen for at least 10 years and Experience w.r.t. Sho rt Service Commissioned etc., (vii) Signature of candidate and ( vii i) applications submitted without certificate with reference to Ex - servicemen and Short Service Commission , will not be considered . Incomplete applications will be outrightly rejected. 11. Mode of Selection : i) By holding a Physical and Personality Assessment test which will be qualifying in nature. ii) Those who qualify in the Physical and Personality Assessment test will be invited for a Written test. iii) The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination. iv) The Syllabus of the written test, Physical Standards, Physical Tests and other details of the physical and personality assessment test is attached at annexure – A (Available at NML Website www.nmlindia.org) . 12. Only outstation candidates (within India) called for Written test only will be reimbursed Travelling Allowance (TA) as admissible under rules i.e. a single Second Class Railway Fare (by Mail or Express) each way from their normal place of residence or from the place of undertaking the j ourney, whichever is nearer to Jamshedp ur on production of proof of journey. For road journeys between stations not connected by rail, the actual bus fare or road mileage at the lowest rate as admissible under rules, will be reimbursed, on production of documentary proof (bus tickets) provided that the distance covered by road is more than 20 KM each way. 13. CSIR - N M L reserves the right not to fill up the post, if it so desires. 14. The selected candidate will be on probation for a period of one year from the date of taking over charge of the post. Th e proba tionary period may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of the Competen t Authority. After successful c omplet ion of probationary period, he/she will be considered for confirmation in accordance with the extant rules. 15. The selected appointee sho uld be ready to work beyond offic e hours whenever need arises to meet Laboratory schedules. 16. The selected candidate will not be permitted to apply for app ointment elsewhere or in CSIR - NM L during the probationary period and if they have already applied for any posts in any other organization they may have to intimate the details of such applications, immediately after joining the Laboratory. 17. It is necessary that only accurate, full and factually cor rect information should be furnished by the applicants. F urnishing of wrong / false information will be a disqualification and CSIR - N M L will NOT be responsible for any of the consequences of furnishing such wrong / false information. 18.
