Inter Command Cross Country Championship Held at Naval Station Ezhimala

The Inter Command Cross Country Championship 2018-19 was held at Naval Station, Ezhimala on 07 October 2018 to select the best runners for the Navy Cross Country team for taking part in the Services Cross Country Championship. Three teams, comprising nine participants each from Western, Eastern and Southern Naval Command respectively, participated in the event. The 10 km run was flagged off by Rear Admiral Amit Vikram, Principal, INA and the team from Southern Naval Command emerged victorious. In the individual category Jairesh Yadav, Sea I took the first place in the cross country with a timing of 33 minutes and 20 seconds, while Vikas Kumar Log I (STD)  finished runner up with a timing of 33 minutes and 35 seconds. Vice Admiral RB Pandit, AVSM, Commandant, INA congratulated the winning team as well as the individual prize winners and gave away the medals and trophies.
