Camp Jagrat Conducted at INS Chilka

Camp Jagrat was conducted at INS Chilka for trainees of Batch 02/2019 from 25 to 30 November 2019 in six phases. A total of 300 nominated trainees from all 10 divisions participated in the camp, which included an endurance run, obstacle course, seamanship evolutions, land fighting, tug-of-war, tent pitching, fireman lift and josh run. The camp was aimed to develop esprit-de-corps, camaraderie, leadership traits, physical endurance and mental strength among the trainees as also to inculcate the Navy’s Core Values of Duty, Honour and Courage. The camp concluded with a cultural programme and campfire, which was lit by Commodore Rituraj Sahu, Station Commander Chilka as the Chief Guest.
