Cycling Expedition to Spread Swachhta Campaign

INS Vishwakarma conducted a cycling expedition from Visakhapatnam to Korukonda Sainik School and back on 13 December 2019 . The expedition, flagged off by Rear Adm Deepak Kapoor, Chief Staff Officer(Personnel & Administration), ENC aimed of to spread awareness of the ongoing Swachhta Campaign and to promote Camaraderie, Espirit De Corps, Sportmanship, Physical Fitness, and also imbibe ethos of adventure and group cohesion. 72 cyclists including personnel from Indian Navy Indian Coast Guard and Friendly Foreign Countries covered a distance of over 100 kms through Simhachalam, Padmanabham, Korukonda, Bheemili, and Rushikonda during the expedition. The team also undertook a cleanup drive en route, ensuring a clean and green ecosystem.
