Passing Out of Basic ‘Q’ Met Course Held at School of Naval Oceanology and Meteorology

17 trainees, comprising 13 from the Indian Navy, two from Indian Coast Guard and two International Students, from friendly foreign countries (one each from Tanzania and Mauritius) graduated from School of Naval Oceanology and Meteorology (SNOM) on 06 March 2020 on completion of Basic Qualification Meteorology course. Officer-in-Charge, Observer School, the Chief Guest for the graduation ceremony, presented certificates and prizes to the meritorious trainees. The event marked the culmination of 20 weeks of theoretical and practical training on various Meteorological subjects. Pradeep SSR (Met) and Mahaveer Jajra SSR (Met) were adjudged first and second respectively in academics, while Sandeep Yadav SSR (Met) was adjudged as the ‘Best All - round Trainee’ in the course.
