Inter-Divisional Whaler Boat Pulling Regatta at INS Chilka

Inter-Divisional Whaler Boat Pulling Regatta for trainees of Batch 01/2021 was conducted at INS Chika on 05 June 2021 with the aim of inculcating the values of teamwork, spirit of adventure, watermanship skills as also to develop Mental Strength, Physical Stamina and Endurance. The Boat Pulling Regatta gains unparalleled significance in training and grooming of trainees as it fosters healthy competition and seagoing skills amongst trainees. 10 Teams, one each from 10 trainees' Divisions competed for the "Best Whaler" Title. Abhimanyu Division emerged as the "Winners" of the Whaler Boat Pulling Regatta and was awarded the coveted 'Cock' Trophy while Ashok Division was adjudged the "Runners-Up". Commanding Officer, INS Chilka awarded prizes to the winning teams.
