World Meteorological Day 2016.    

World Meteorological Day 2016 was celebrated on 23 Mar 16 at Command Met Office premises, Mumbai.  During the proceedings a presentation was given to the guests on the importance of WMO day and also on the theme for 2016 viz ‘Hotter, Drier and Wetter – face the future’. It was followed by an exhibition of Met instruments and environment related posters put on display for the occasion.

Swachh Bharat Campaign.    

Swachh Bharat Campaign was carried out by personnel of all ships/ units under Western Naval Command on 28 Feb 16. Being a Sunday, there was a whole-hearted participation from the families of officers and children besides the service personnel.
