Navy Marathon EXPO on 16 Nov

A race expo for the Kochi Navy Marathon would be held at Naval Officer’s Institute (NOI), Katari Bagh located opposite naval base in Wellington island between 0900 hrs to 1700 hrs on 16 November 2019. The expo would provide all information concerning the marathon such as route, assembly time for the participants etc. The race kit for all participants which includes the electronic “Bib” for marking the time would also be distributed during the expo.

All registered participants are required to carry email confirmation and ID proof for collection of race kit at the expo. Participants unable to personally collect Race Kit may depute a suitable representative with authorisation letter for collection of the same at the above mentioned venue on 16 Nov 19 along with ID proof entered while registering.

Over 3500 runners would be participating in the Kochi Navy Marathon on 17 November 2019 which will be flagged off by Vice Admiral A K Chawla, AVSM, NM, VSM Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Naval Command from KV Port Trust ground at 0500 hrs. The Flag Off timings Venduruthy Run(21 km), Dronacharya Run(10 km) and Garuda Run(5 km) are 0500 hrs, 0545 hrs and 0630 hrs respectively.
