Graduation Ceremony of 12th Foreign Observer Course Held at Observer School, Kochi

Two officers from Sri Lanka and one officer each from Bangladesh and Vietnam, graduated as Observers  on 09 January 2020 at a ceremony held at Observer School, Kochi. Commanding Officer, INS Garuda, was the Chief Guest for the event and awarded graduation certificates to the passing out officers of the 12th Foreign Observer course. The officers  were trained in air navigation, aviation subjects, flying procedures, maritime reconnaissance, and exploitation of airborne avionic systems. Lieutenant JGGD Jayashinghe from Sri Lanka was adjudged ‘First in the Overall Order of Merit’.
