20th Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrations at INS Parundu

As part of Kargil Vijay Diwas Celebrations, INS Parundu conducted a series of events from 20 to 26 July 2019. An awareness campaign was run through street plays during the week, following which the Air Station was open to visitors on 25 July 2019. A Cyclothon was conducted, wherein over 200 cyclists including officers, sailors, DSC jawans, Coast Guard personnel, District Administration, Police, locals and children participated. In addition, a Painting competition themed ‘Kargil Victory’ was also conducted for school students.
