Exercise Konkan Shakti-21

Exercise Konkan Shakti 2021 with the participation of naval units from India and UK (with a ship from the Royal Netherlands Navy embedded as part of the UK Carrier Strike Group 21 (CSG-21)) commenced at Mumbai on 21 October 2021. As part of Subject Matter Expert Exchange during the harbour phase, specialist officers of IndianNavy visited HMS Defender and interacted with crew. Also, a visit of specialist officers from the visiting CarrierStrikeGroup was organised onboard INS Kochi. As part of social interaction, a friendly football match was organised between ships company of Indian Navy’s Western Fleet ships and visiting UK Carrier Strike Group.
