Final Planning Conference For The Second Edition of Bilateral Naval Exercise ‘Al-Mohed-Al Hindi-23’

Final Planning Conference for second edition of bilateral naval exercise ‘Al-Mohed-Al Hindi-23’ between Indian Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Forces was held on 14 - 15 March 2023 at WNC, Mumbai. The exercise is scheduled to be conducted from 21 - 25 May 2023 off Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. First edition of exercise was conducted off Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia from 09 - 14 Aug 2021 and saw participation of Saudi Arabian Naval Corvette RSNF Badr and Indian Naval Destroyer INS Kochi. INS Tarkash is scheduled to participate in second edition, along with an Offshore Patrol Vessel and Indian Navy Dornier. The exercise is likely to include anti-air and anti-surface firing, helicopter ops, Special Ops, air defence exercise, sea manoeuvres and communication exercises.
