FOCINC SNC Visits Bitra Island, Lakshwadweep

Vice Admiral AK Chawla, FOCINC, SNC visited Bitra Island on 04 October 2021, as part of his two-day visit to Lakshadweep archipelago. Commander TK Praveen, NOIC Dweeprakshak and Shri Buzar Jamhar, Deputy collector Agatti received the FOCINC at Agatti Airport. Vice Admiral AK Chawla unveiled the foundation stone, which was followed by laying of the foundation stone for the construction of naval detachment by Mrs Sapana Chawla, President NWWA (SR) at Bitra Island. The FOCINC interacted with Military Engineering Service Staff, UTL officials and local populace at the construction site. He will also inaugurate NCN Satellite Data Centre Kavarati during the visit to Lakshadweep.
