Inaugration of Navy Childran School, Porbandar

Navy Children School (NCS), Porbandar, functioning under the aegis of the Navy Education Society, New Delhi and administered by Flag Officer Commanding Gujarat Naval Area as Chairman, was augmented with a new building on 24 November 2021 as Vice Admiral R Hari Kumar, FOCINC, WNC inaugurated the new facility through virtual mode. The existing infrastructure of the school has been a make-shift arrangement with the Naval Kindergarten building accommodating the academic activities of classes from KG to primary and secondary sections, till Class 10. The new building will enable the CBSE affiliated school to commence senior secondary classes (Classes 11 and 12) for science and commerce streams in the forthcoming academic year (2022-23). NCS, Porbandar strives to provide quality education to children and wards of naval personnel and civilians residing in the Porbandar Naval Area.
