An Indian Navy Team Comprising 22 Personnel & Four Dependents Undertook an Unique High Altitude Trek to Kuaripass Top (12750 Feet) in Uttarakhand From 09 Mar to 16 March 2024 Organised by DAPSA.

An Indian Navy Team comprising 22 personnel & four dependents undertook an unique High Altitude Trek to Kuari Pass Top (12750 feet) in Uttarakhand from 09 Mar to 16 March 2024 organised by DAPSA. On 11 March 2024, as a part of community outreach programme, the team interacted with students and staff of Regdi High School located in a remote Tugasi village. Awareness about Indian Navy, advantages of joining Indian Navy, medical lecture on Basic Life Support & First Aid were delivered by the Specialist Medical Officer of the team & other two members.The team trekked for a total of 32 km in high altitude in phases by camping in tents at Camp-1 (Gulling top: 8800ft) and Camp-2 (Tali Camp: 10400ft). The team summited Kuari Pass top(12750 ft) at 1220 h on 13 March 2024. Summiting a peak in a Three-day trek was a test of endurance and resilience. Camping in snow cladded terrain, trekking in thin air of high altitude and accomplishing the mission was a testament to perseverance and determination of the Naval personnel & their dependents.
