INHS Kalyani and HQENC conducted a Developmental Screening Camp at Balwadi, Naval Park, Visakhapatnam on 28 April 2024. The camp aimed to identify children of house help in the age group of 3-6 years for any developmental delays. A team of doctors screened children and identified who need further evaluation. These children will now receive care at the Early intervention centre and timely treatment. The aim is to integrate them into the mainstream. INHS Kalyani and ENC will continue to hold similar camps in other areas.
