Inter Divisional Cross Country- INS Chilka

The first Inter Divisional cross country race for 2621 trainees consisting of Artificer Apprentice, Yantrik, SSR, Navik (GD) of Batch 01/2019 was conducted at INS Chilka on 06 Apr 19. Trainees from all ten Divisions along with 167 personnel from the ship’s company and DSC personnel participated in the cross country. The five kilometers run was put to test mettle of the trainees and is a key event for trainees to explore their own physical standards. Anil Mohite, SSR with 19 minutes 33 seconds of Angad Division and Hitesh Dabar, SSR with 19 minutes 49 seconds of Marakkar Division finished first and second respectively in the individual event while, Arjun and Shivaji Division stood first and second respectively in the team event.

Commodore Rituraj Sahu, Commanding Officer INS Chilka presented medals to the winners.
