Mid Life Upgrade of 25 Dornier Aircraft

MoD signed contract with HAL, TAD Kanpur for Mid Life Upgrade of 25 Dornier aircraft of Indian Navy on 15 March 2024. The MLU would significantly enhance the operational capability of the IN Dornier to perform its roles viz Maritime Surveillance, ELINT and SAR. This project is a significant step towards indigenisation of Defence equipment and a major step towards Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
