Navy Team Adjudged Inter-Services Cricket Champion

Vice Admiral Sanjay Vatsayan, COS, ENC awarded the Inter-services Cricket Championship trophy to Indian Navy team during the closing ceremony of championship held at Waltair Railway Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on 28 September 2022. Team Army Red was declared as Runners-up. Indian Navy hosted 70th Inter-Services Cricket Championship wherein, Army Red, Army Green, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force teams participated in the month-long cricket league matches. Addressing the gathering, COS congratulated Navy cricket team for winning the trophy after a gap of 12 years. He appreciated Railways, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Gitam University for providing the venue. The Inter-services Championship was organised by INS Virbahu under the aegis of ENC which was held simultaneously at Gitam University Cricket Ground, Railway Cricket Stadium and Steel Plant Ukku Stadium.
