Opportunity For Revision Of Option To Transit To Revised Pay Structure/Date Of Next Increment (7Th Cpc)

1. Refer to the following Gol/ MoD letters :- (a) 1(4)/2021/D(Pay/Services) dated 23 May 23.
(b) 34(1)/2023/D(Pay/Services) dated 02 Aug 23.
(c) 1(20)/2017/D(Pay/Services)-Part1 dated 18 Aug 23.

2. Background. Gol has extended last opportunity to all Naval personnel to exercise/ revise their option for transition from 6th to 7th CPC for pay fixation vide letters ibid. All affected personnel are required to forward ink signed Option Form(s) to Naval Pay Office by 18 Nov 23. In order to facilitate assessment of most suitable option, NPO has designed an indicative calculator on NPO NUD site with print facility of Option Form(s) for serving personnel.

3. Serving Personnel. All serving personnel are required to visit NPO NUD website and check for most suitable/ beneficial option. In case individuals feel that the existing (already exercised) option is in variance with most suitable/ beneficial option, they must opt for the revised option and forward ink signed copy of the option form to NPO by 18 Nov 23.

4. Retired Personnel. List of affected retired personnel required to re-exercise option for transition to 7th CPC, indicating most suitable/ beneficial option has been uploaded on NPO internet website (https://www.indiannavy.nic.in/navy/npo/content/option-forms). Personnel are required to download the appropriate Option form and forward ink signed copy to NPO by 18 Nov 23.
