Rear Admiral Sathish Vasudev Assumed Charge as Flag Officer Defence Advisory Group

Rear Admiral Sathish Vasudev assumed charge as Flag Officer Defence Advisory Group and Advisor Offshore Security and Defence to GoI on 01 Mar 2024. An alumnus of NDA and has specialised in Navigation & Direction. His key afloat appointments include commissioning crew of INS Mumbai, Executive Officer of INS Talwar and command of INS Gomati and INSTarkash. His important appointments ashore were at DNO and DNP at NHQ, Director (Perspective Planning) at Indian Army HQ and instructor tenures at ND School and DSSC, Wellington. A graduate of DSSC, Wellington and NWC, Goa, he holds Masters degrees in Defence Studies and Nautical Science and an MPhil in Defence Studies. Admiral is a recipient of Nao Sena medal.
