Training Conclave on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics

In order to expand the understanding of Artificial Intelligence & Big Data Analytics based systems, their application and enhance the knowledge base amongst a wider diaspora of Officers, a half day Training Conclave on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Analytics was conducted by PMG CMS/ IHQ MoD(N) at Kota House on 04 February 2019. The Training conclave was attended by 50 Officers from various directorates of IHQ MoD(N) which also included ACNS(SR), ACNS(CSNCO), ACOM(IT&S) and ACOM(D&R). Two sessions on Artificial Intelligence and one session on Big Data Analytics were taken by domain knowledge experts from M/s Fractal Analytics and M/s Sterlite respectively. During the first two sessions on Artificial Intelligence, Dr Soudip Roy Chowdhury, from M/s Fractal Analytics gave an introduction to Artificial Intelligence, its significance in today’s world and its employability for problem solving which was followed by demonstration of a Use case on ‘AI Enabled Pull Mechanism’ for extracting trends/ predictions from data sets and discussions thereafter.

The third and the final session on a Use case of Big Data Analytics, its architecture and its employability in NCN was covered by Cdr Dhiraj Khanna (Retd) from M/s Sterlite Technologies Ltd.
