Visit of Oman Delegation to Southern Naval Command

A three member delegation of Royal Navy of Oman led by Cdr Saif Khalfan Salim Ali Nabhani visited Southern Naval Command SNC, Kochi from 21 - 26 April 2024. The delegation was provided a comprehensive overview of evaluation mechanism and inspection methodology of a naval unit's performance. As part of the visit, training workshops, field visits and professional discussions were held on varied subjects of interests. The delegation also witnessed demonstration of various simulators at professional training schools of Indian navy. The delegation called on Commodore Sritanu Guru, Commodore(Training), SNC and interacted on avenues of training exchanges and collaborative efforts between the two navies. The visit concluded with an enriching tour of the Indian Maritime Museum at FortKochi showcasing the rich maritime history of India.
