Western Fleet Award Function 24

The annual Western Fleet Awards Nite made it's debut at Karwar Naval Base onboard INS Vikramaditya on 04 May 2024. Vice Admiral Sanjay J Singh, FOCINC WNC was the Chief Guest for the function. INS Mormugao was adjudged the 'Best Ship', INS Kolkata the 'Most Spirited Ship' and INS Subhadra was awarded 'Best Ship' amongst tankers and OPVs. Various other trophies for excellence in other dimensions of maritime operations were also awarded during the event. Addressing the gathering, CINC complemented the Fleet for ensuring high tempo of ops and stressed on remaining poised to proactively address the dynamic safety and security situation in the region.
