Mauritius Inshore Survey Vessel Repaired at SNC

 A Mauritian Inshore Survey Vessel (ISV) 'Pathfinder' has been repaired and refurbished by Naval Ship Repair Yard (NSRY), Kochi. The ISV was gifted to Mauritius in 2013 by the Government of India. On a request from Government of Mauritius for repair assistance, the boat was brought back to India by INS Sarvekshak. A comprehensive overhaul of the engines, sterndrive and hull repairs, along with painting of the underwater hull was expeditiously undertaken with OEM assistance. In addition, major refurbishment of all interior fittings and hull appendages was carried out. Extensive trials were undertaken and the boat was inspected by Chief of Staff, SNC and handed over to INS Sarvekshak for transporting it back to Mauritius.
