OFFICER-IN-CHARGE CMET

Captain CK Karmakar is an alumnus of 95th NDA course and was commissioned into the Engineering branch of the Navy on 01 Jan 2000. The officer completed his B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji in 2002, as part of the 85th Basic Engineering Course (BEC), followed by MESC in 2003. His sea appointments include tenures onboard IN Ships Mumbai, Talwar, Ranvir and Trishul. The officer has more than six years’ experience in both the Naval Dockyards. The officer has also tenated Staff appointments at AST P-1135.6, HQWNC, HQSNC and Naval Headquarters. The officer has undergone M.Tech in Systems & Control Engineering from IIT, Bombay and was part of the first TSOC (Navy) course at MILIT, Pune as well as 32nd Naval Higher Command Course (NHCC) at NWC, Goa. The officer has taken over duties of Officer-in-Charge, CMET on 13 May 22.
